Marcel Aymé was born on 29 March 1902 in Joigny, Yonne, France. He was a writer, known for La rue sans nom (1934), Father, Mother, the Maid and I (1954) and The Crossing of Paris (1956). He was married to Marie-Antoinette Arnaud. He died on 14 October 1967 in Paris, France.
