Nilüfer Aydan

Nilüfer Aydan was born in Istanbul in 1940. She left middle school to work in
a film company, married at 16 and soon found herself in the USA,
dancing in nightclubs. Her film career began in 1958, back in Turkey,
and she went on to perform in almost 40 productions during the 1960s.
The 1970s marked a pause in her screen career, but she returned in 1983
and has since starred in a further 16 films, combining this more
recently with television work.
