In 1972 he graduated from the musical composing department of Yerevan
state Conservatory. Since 1967 he has worked at Armenfilm Studios as
sound editor, later musical editor. From 1996 he has been founder and
head of "Brevis" recording studio at the Union of composers and
specialists of music.
