Jur Arten was born on 28 February 1906 in Warsaw, Poland, Russian Empire [now Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland]. He was an actor and assistant director, known for Wages of Sin (1966), Verklungene Melodie (1938) and Ein schöner Tag (1944). He died in 1981.
