As producer and editor, Michael restored lost footage and sound to dozens of classic films and television programs, including "East of Eden", "Rebel Without a Cause", "Strangers On A Train", "The Wild Bunch", "Planet of the Apes", "The Exorcist" and "The French Connection".
Michael produced the acclaimed "Director's Cut" versions of "Blade Runner" and "A Streetcar Named Desire", and noted restorations of "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", "The Way We Were", and "Yentl" among many other titles.
Michael's reconstruction of Bob Fosse's "Liza With a Z" premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in October 2005, and aired on Showtime in 2006. His restorations of "My Name is Barbra" and "Color Me Barbra" premiered on PBS' Great Performances in 2005 and 2006.
Michael produced and directed dozens of DVD, Blu-ray, CD and Dual Disc releases, and produced music video packages for Barbra Streisand's "Stranger in a Strange Land", "Hideaway", "Above the Law", and "Letting Go".
Recent projects include producing and directing video segments for Barbra Streisand's 2016-17 Concert Tour as well as the 2017 Netflix Special "Barbra: The Music, The Mem'ries, The Magic".
