Miss Applegarth was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up on the
Eastern Shore of Maryland. She has a degree in Stage Management from
Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis, MO. In 1982, she
started working as a Stage Manager for Cellar Door Concerts, a music
promoter on the East Coast. She was promoted to the position of
Production Manager and has toured with Billy Joel, Elton John, John
Cougar Mellencamp, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and U2. She
still continues to work for Cellar Door Concerts when not working in
the Film and Television Industries. She is an avid supporter of Animal
Rescue and rescues animals on film sets and in theatrical venues,
finding them homes with bands, actors, venues, and fellow crew
members.
