The 16th International Film Festival of Kerala has announced the slate of films that will be screened at the festival from December 9-16, 2011.
National Award winner for Best Film and India’s entry for Oscars—Malayalam film Adaminte Makan Abu (Abu, Son of Adam) directed by Salim Ahamed will be presented in International Competition section at the festival.

Dubai -- While arguably the hottest ticket in the region, the Dubai International Film Festival is hardly alone these days. Five years after its launch, Diff is now part of an entire season of Arab film festivals, running from October to December each year.
The latest addition to the scene is a spinoff of Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival, which will launch in November in Doha, capital of the oil-rich Saudi state of Qatar.
