Catch up with Bad Guys – and meet the Bad Girls – in DreamWorks Animation’s The Bad Guys 2 trailer. The trailer confirms the Bad Guys are trying to be good, but that won’t be easy when they’re introduced to a trio of female villains: Kitty Kat, Pigtail, and Doom.
In an interview with The Wrap, director Pierre Perifel hinted at what’s happening with Wolf and the gang. “They’re struggling a little bit, going from job interviews to try and pay bills that they can’t afford, until they get captured by this trio of super villains and forced to do one last job,” said Perifel. “The movie is about testing Wolf’s determination to be a good guy. Did he make the right choice? That really is the big philosophical argument for him.”
The original film’s voice cast returns, with Oscar winner Sam Rockwell back as Mr.

Few masters can span six decades in the spotlight. Yet Ridley Scott has never been a normal filmmaker. A wunderkind and prodigy, Scott broke into the mainstream in the mid-1970s, coming out of the gate with some of the best films in history. Even his “failures” have been reworked, allowing Scott to rewrite his own history in the process. There may not be a better “Director’s cut” filmography around, and Scott’s legend only continues to grow with time. His return to the Colosseum in Gladiator II has rightfully caused a moment of retrospection for the icon. Below are ten of his best features, which becomes a difficult exercise with a filmography as deep as Scott’s.

Oscar nominee Angela Bassett and Oscar winner Sam Rockwell hosted a private screening for Mike Leigh‘s “Hard Truths” at the Linwood Dunn Theater in LA Tuesday night. The audience filled with Academy members, press, and other invited guests gave actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste a standing ovation as she sat down with film critic and podcaster Kate Walsh for a post-screening Q & A.
Reunited with Leigh for the first time since she earned an Oscar nomination for “Secrets & Lies,” Jean-Baptiste plays Pansy, a woman wracked by fear, tormented by afflictions, and prone to raging tirades against her husband, son, and anyone who looks her way. The film may sound dark, and there are plenty heavy moments, but there is also an abundance of laughter as the actress delivers one zinger after the next aimed at whoever stands in front of her.

One of the popular Hollywood actors who has not only garnered a lot of appreciation as a superhero but also ruled over hearts with his witty mouth and charming onscreen presence. This actor is none other than Ryan Reynolds, who served a blockbuster hit movie, Deadpool & Wolverine recently and broke all the box office records. However, he has also seen his fair share of flops. He is an actor, a producer, and a happily married man with four children.

However, he never really paid any heed to it and always tried his best to give and entertain his massive audience. Since the 1990s, Reynolds has been working in the acting industry. There is simply no arguing with Frank Darabont: the man who brought us The Shawshank Redemption and The Walking Dead, two of the greatest existentially dramatic pieces of film/television in pop culture history. Nominated for 3 Academy Awards, the filmmaker has been behind some of the best (and some of the worst) films in Hollywood simultaneously.

When it comes to Darabont’s work as a director, Tom Hanks’ 1999 film The Green Mile definitely falls into the “one of the best” category. A stylized tale of magical realism set on death row, this 4 Oscars-nominated movie was a masterclass in acting, directing, and storytelling cobbled together to give the audience an unforgettable experience.

Secret Invasion was not well-received by the majority of fans, and the plot point that seems to have come in for the most backlash was the twist involving Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle).
Making War Machine a Skrull imposter was one thing, but revealing that the real Rhodey had been replaced by a shape-shifting alien shortly after sustaining his injury in Captain America: Civil War - rendering his emotional farewell to dying Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame meaningless - really didn't go over well.
As it turns out, Cheadle has some issues with the twist himself.
"Uh… you know, there was no… it wasn’t a demand. It was a request," the actor told TV Line when asked for his reaction to finding out about the Skrull twist. “'What do you think about playing this?' And it was to set up stuff in the following thing. So, if the following thing happens,...

The brilliant Galaxy Quest is celebrating its 25th birthday by coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time, in time for Christmas.
Comfortably one of the best Star Trek films of all time, and Star Trek fans would tell you that, is Dean Parisot’s rightfully much-loved comedy, Galaxy Quest. Released to middling box office in 1999, courtesy of a marketing campaign that never really got the movie, the film has since found its audience, with continual talk of sequels and TV spin-offs.
To date though, we’ve had one much-loved film, and as you can probably gleam from the cunningly-written headline to this piece, it’s coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time. A UK release has also been confirmed for the disc, which will be out this side of Christmas.

Exclusive: Chris Hemsworth (Thor & Extraction movies) and Sam Rockwell are “helping out” their stunt-world buddies in the first of an initial four-part movie series called Stuntnuts – yes, it’s a palindrome- which are being made under Matthew Vaughn’s Marv Films banner.
You may have spotted the Stuntnuts title being introduced in the trailer- directed by Vaughn- that Meta chief executive Mark Zuckerberg recently posted on his official Instagram page to promote Meta’s RayBan Smart Glasses.
It features Zuckerberg, initially seen with an arm ablaze, launching into a series of stunt set pieces with John Cena and Benson Boone choreographed to the tune of Junior Senior’s high energy pop classic Move Your Feet (And Feel United) .
Teaser ends with a befuddled Zuckerberg looking at his torched arm, exclaiming: “Hey, Meta, am I on fire?” You can watch it here:

When some fans hear the name of Jay Pharoah’s new YouTube special Jared, they ask a simple question: “Who’s Jared?”
“A lot of people didn’t even know that was my real damn name,” Pharoah laughs when we talked about his comedy career this week. “‘Who’s Jared?’ Shut up. Okay, it’s me. Jared is me. Jared is just a metaphor for everything that people haven’t really gotten a chance to see. You can just expect the tumultuous trail of life that I’ve been going on in this past decade.”
The special, which premieres September 22nd, is “free for everybody to see. You don’t need a subscription. You can watch it anywhere,” he tells me. “I want y’all to enjoy it — growing-up stories, some pop-culture references in there, it’s pretty much a buffet of comedy.”

Despite being a storytelling staple since before the term was even coined (not to mention sparking several mass panics), real life psychopaths are exceedingly rare. It’s estimated that only about 1% of the population is truly devoid of empathy, and even then, most of them seem content with working jobs where they feel powerful rather than actively seeking out homicide.
And yet, we remain fascinated with the idea of invisible bogeymen living among us during the day and committing terrible acts of murder at night – which is likely why there are so many psycho-focused genre films out there. And with such a huge backlog of (usually psychologically inaccurate) stories about mentally ill killers, it was only a matter of time before clever filmmakers began subverting the tropes that surround our favorite ne’er-do-wells. Among these satirical productions, I think one of the most underrated happens to be Martin McDonagh’s darkly humorous thriller Seven Psychopaths.

We haven't had many (any?) official updates on Armor Wars since Marvel Studios announced that the project was being developed as a feature back in 2022, but a recent rumor did claim that the studio has yet to make a "final decision" on the movie one way or the other, and could still choose not to movie forward.
Don Cheadle - who is, as far as we know, still attached to star as James "Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine - was asked if he could share any news on the project during an appearance on the Today Show, and gave what could be perceived as a very telling response.
"What's Armor Wars?," the actor asked with a smile, before adding that it's basically an "I could tell you but I'd have to kill you" situation.
Aside from being a great way to shut down the question, this does suggest that there is something to discuss,...

Marvel Studios has been showcasing just how far it can take the notion of anything being possible in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as its Multiverse Saga is showing us just how ambitious it can be in that specific task (among many others). The possibilities for what could actually happen in the Multiverse Saga are endless, but if there is one constant that audiences have come to count on seeing, it's probably returns.
We've already had both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their respective versions of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, while X-Men stars Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman brought their respective characters of Charles Xavier and Wolverine back in different projects, too. And now, we know that Robert Downey Jr. will make a comeback to the legendary franchise in the upcoming two Avengers movies, but not at all in the role you'd expect; he's playing the villainous Doctor Doom.

The Bear just wrapped up Season 3 but it sounds like it may be a while before Season 4 arrives! Find out more here!
Folks can continue to debate if The Bear is a drama or a comedy, but it can't be denied that it's one of the hottest shows on TV. The FX/Hulu dramedy focuses on Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), who moves back to his home in Chicago following the death of his brother (Frank Grillo). He has a dream to remake the family sandwich shop into a high-end restaurant, corralling a batch of folks to help him out.
The show has been a critical darling since it premiered with its amazing cast, high-powered guest stars, and terrific storytelling that shows Carmy's personal issues as he challenges everyone, including himself, to greatness. It's earned massive accolades, with White winning an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG, among other awards,...

Jeremy Allen White has revealed that The Bear season 4 won’t be filming until early 2025. More on the news below.
The Bear, Hulu’s tense and thrilling kitchen drama, has been one of the biggest TV phenomenons of recent years. Christopher Storer’s show has heart and comedy in almost equal measure and the series has been showered with accolades, deservedly so.
With season 3 premiering last month, we’re eagerly waiting for news on The Bear season 4. It was initially thought that season 3 and season 4 were filmed back to back, but that seems to have been false information.
In an interview with Esquire UK, lead star Jeremy Allen White has revealed that we’ll have to wait a while yet to see Carmy back in the kitchen.

Bryce Dallas Howard is not just a talented actress but an exceptionally gifted director as well. Apart from her many roles in diverse genres, the director-actor is among the lucky few who have dabbled with the Star Wars franchise and given more than a handful of memorable episodes. Now she will be going even further into the space opera franchise since she is one of the many talented directors working on Skeleton Crew.

While fans are excited, her recent confession about her approach to the series is giving major red flags. And since it has something to do with the critically panned disaster, Argylle, Star Wars fans certainly have a lot to be concerned about.

The role of DC’s Batman has gone to many an iconic actor during the live-action run of the character. From the most recent Robert Pattinson to Christian Bale, to Michael Keaton, the character has been played by some iconic names, as fans await what James Gunn now has in store.
Michael Keaton as Batman. (DC)
Regardless, Keaton’s flirtation with the Gotham superhero began back in 1989, as Tim Burton brought to life his darker version of the character in Batman. Keaton, who was at the time known majorly for his work in comedies, not only brought forth an iconic Batman, he also continues to remain proud of his portrayal, even years later.
This was evident during his 2014 interview while promoting the iconic Birdman. Keaton claimed that he had no jealousy towards Ben Affleck, who had just been announced as Zack Snyder’s Batman.

Sony Pictures announced Wednesday that the previously untitled movie is now called Beneath the Storm and will hit theaters on Aug. 1, 2025. Plot details have not yet been shared for the project that is said to involve sharks.
Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou co-star in the film from producers Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.

Hugh Jackman returned to his storied role as Logan Aka Wolverine for Deadpool’s debut in the MCU, the massive hit “Deadpool and Wolverine.”
Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool has been a team-up fans have anticipated for well over a year now since the project was announced. And, it’s safe to say, the end result has not disappointed. “Deadpool and Wolverine” is a wildly fun ride with mind-blowing cameos (no spoilers here), a healthy dose of the wonderful Matthew Macfadyen, and a killer soundtrack. But the draw is obviously Deadpool and Wolvy on screen together. Reynolds delivers the laugh-out comedy with his off-kilter Deadpool-isms while Jackman plays Wolverine pretty straight-faced, gruffing and growling his way through a redemption arc that actually packs a punch full of emotion.
As a result, Reynolds and Jackman are a match made in heaven while Jackman is the heart and soul of the movie.

Put those lightsabers down and pick up a Playbill because Adam Driver is returning to the stage. The Tony and Academy-Award nominated actor will be starring in a new Off-Broadway revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s “Hold on to Me Darling” at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Manhattan’s West Village this Fall for a limited 13-week engagement starting on September 24 and running until December 22.
The official synopsis for “Hold on to Me Darling” reads, “On learning of his mother’s death, country music icon Strings McCrane (Driver) finds himself in an existential tailspin. The only way out, he decides, is to abandon superstardom in favor of the simple life, so he moves back to his hometown in Tennessee. The simple life turns out to be anything but simple in this brilliantly observed tragicomedy, as the consequences of Strings’ success and mind-bending effects of his fame prove all but impossible to outrun.
