- As a result of his car accident, his nose was reconstructed with the assistance of four screws and his left eye-socket with titanium.

- In 2010, Reedus took on the role of Daryl Dixon in the AMC television series The Walking Dead (2010). The character was not originally in the comic book series of the same name, but was created specifically for Reedus after his audition for the character Merle Dixon.

- Is close friends with Paul Banks, the lead singer of the rock band Interpol.
- Norman revealed on Jon Bernthal's podcast Real Ones that his daughter Nova was born on the exact same day that their former Walking Dead co-star Scott Wilson passed away, which is why Norman was unable to attend the funeral.
