Back in the old days, when sitcoms still ruled the entertainment world, Malcolm in the Middle proved to be one of those exceptional series that left viewers laughing and shedding tears all at the right times. Flaunting a perfect 100% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes, it might as well be deemed the ultimate sitcom.
For around six stunning years, the said show continued to entertain fans and leave them baffled through the 151 episodes it delivered, spread over the course of 7 seasons. Then, after the seventh and final season, the series was officially canceled, ending the sitcom once and for all.

Malcolm In The Middle is back for a four episode sequel series for Disney+, and details of the return are right here.
Before he gave one of the greatest perfomances on television as Walter White in Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston was Hal, the goofy, loveable Dad on Malcolm In The Middle, whose perfect comic timing is every bit as brilliant as his dramatic work – see the scene in one episode where he has to get rid of a spider as an example of that.
One of the first early 2000s sitcoms to popularise the single camera format, Malcolm In The Middle was created by Linwood Boomer, who previously produced the failed US adaptation of Red Dwarf.
The show followed the trials and tribulations of the Wilkerson family – father Hal (Cranston) is married to matriarch Lois (Jane Kaczmarek). There is eldest child Francis (Christopher Masterson), child prodigy Malcolm (Frankie Muniz), prankster...

Bryan Cranston is back with Malcolm In The Middle cast for a revival ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Before he became Walter White, Bryan Cranston was recognized as a character actor and a force to be reckoned with in television comedies. The actor, who reached unprecedented career heights with Breaking Bad later in his career, has Malcolm in the Middle to thank for bringing him to that platform. And thanking the comedy, he is — via a new revival.
That’s right! Cranston has decided to return to his roots, choosing his most popular on-screen comedy persona, Hal Wilkerson. The Breaking Bad and Your Honor actor will be reprising his role as Hal, alongside returning cast members Jane Kaczmarek and Frankie Muniz, who portrayed his on-screen wife Lois and son Malcolm, respectively. The sequel will directly arrive on Disney+ and will be a small affair with only four episodes and a limited storyline.

It's the year 2024, and we're still trying to get justice for Lizzie McGuire, even in the face of other sitcoms of her era making comebacks. Well, the latest news out of Disney+ revealed another revival of a nostalgic 2000s fan-favorite TV show, and I can't help but feel frustrated.
On Dec. 13, Disney+ shared the unexpected announcement that Malcolm in the Middle will be returning with four all-new episodes with Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek set to reprise their roles. In addition to Muniz, Cranston, and Kaczmarek returning as Malcolm, Hal, and Lois, Malcolm in the Middle's four revival episodes come from original series creator Linwood Boomer and will we each be directed by Ken Kwapis, who directed 19 episodes between seasons 1-5.

Malcolm might not be in the middle after all. Frankie Muniz revealed that his former onscreen dad, Bryan Cranston, still puts him front and center by keeping in touch, making sure to call him on a regular basis.
It has been 18 years since Malcolm in the Middle went off the air, but that apparently means nothing to Bryan Cranston, who remains a vital figure in the life of Frankie Muniz. “He still reaches out to me every couple of weeks, check in on me. He really cares about what I’m doing, comes to the races, if my band was playing, came to shows. I mean, he’s such an inspiration, and like I said, that’s what I strive to be that for someone else in the future.”
The inspiration that Bryan Cranston gives Frankie Muniz is something he carries with him long after when most people probably figured his shelf life would expire.

Nearly two decades after the hit family sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle” ended, performers Frankie Muniz and Bryan Cranston maintain a close, supportive friendship that developed during the show’s run.
Muniz, who played the major character Malcolm, recently revealed details about his ongoing friendship with Cranston. The experienced actor visits Muniz every few weeks to show real interest in his life and work. “He cares about what I’m doing,” Muniz explained, emphasizing the depth of their relationship.
Their friendship began when Muniz was 11 or 12 years old and progressed from a professional cooperation to a profound mentoring. Muniz refers to Cranston as “essentially a Hollywood god” who has enormously succeeded in film and television.
Despite his great entertainment experiences, Muniz has other intentions for his three-year-old son, Mauz. Given the industry’s difficult nature, he indicated unequivocally that he would not urge his child to pursue a Hollywood career.

Amanda Bynes had always been a natural performer. She began acting as a child, appearing in several TV commercials, demonstratively oohing and ahhing over the Cut N' Style Barbie or snacking on Buncha Crunch to a variation of the "Addams Family" theme music. At school, she appeared in the musicals "Annie," "The Sound of Music," and "The Music Man." She was bitten by the theater bug early on.
Bynes experienced her big break in 1996 when she joined the cast of the hit sketch comedy series "All That" on Nickelodeon. She was 10. "All That" ran for a whopping 11 seasons from 1994 to 2005 and proved to be a stamping ground for up-and-coming talents, serving sort-of as a junior version of "Saturday Night Live." Keenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Nick Cannon also broke out thanks to the popularity of "All That." Bynes was a regular cast member for the show's third through sixth seasons,...

Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz was injured in a NASCAR crash on Friday, November 8, but luckily, he was able to walk away from the accident. Driving as No. 27 for Reaume Brothers Racing, Muniz collided with other racers during Friday’s Craftsman Truck Series Championship at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. In footage shared on X, Muniz limped into an ambulance after the crash, but he told reporters that he was “Ok” following the “unfortunate” incident. Hard hit for @frankiemuniz. Frankie Muniz is ready to get back behind the wheel for NASCAR‘s next season after limping away from a crash in his latest race.
After making his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut earlier this year, the 2x Golden Globe nominee took what reporter Noah Lewis called a “hard hit” during Friday’s Craftsman Truck Series Championship, sharing a video of Muniz limping away from the wreckage.
“I’m okay, yeah. Unfortunate,” he told reporters after the race. “I felt like got a good opportunity to run with some guys, I made some passes. Lost a few spots on restarts, then went back out and passed them again. So it was good for me to figure out how to get by people, you know I haven’t really gotten to do that much this year so that was really positive.”
Muniz continued, “And then we just wanted to keep going, I wanted to keep running.

Hayden Christensen is going to have to use more than the force if he’s going to be part of a championship NASCAR team. But he’s giving it a go, leading a promotional video for the new Darth Vader-inspired Star Wars car and helmet for NASCAR. Check out the car:
For the design, Doug Chiang, an executive designer at Lucasfilm, had to figure out how to incorporate Darth Vader – and, thus, the Dark Side – into the vehicle’s scheme, which would then be complemented by the Star Wars title on the hood of the NASCAR . As for his love of both Star Wars and Hayden Christensen, Chiang said, “I just love Hayden. I love his character and I love what he brings to it, and so I’m hoping that this design will pay respect to both Hayden and Vader.” You can check out the promo video below:...

In the history of crime drama and television shows, only a few have managed to leave an everlasting mark on the audience. This genre is definitely hard to crack, but of Breaking Bad, as soon as it was released in 2008, it quickly garnered a huge fan following. It was created by Vince Gilligan and showcased Bryan Cranston as the antagonist, Walter White. The character started from being an underpaid high school chemistry teacher.

Dancing With the Stars will have its annual Halloween Night live on Tuesday, October 29. It’s one of the most popular themes in the competition.
Halloween Night
Halloween Night first started in Season 3. Since then, it’s become a fixture, and fans can’t get enough. Couples dance to Halloween-related music and dress up as ghoulish characters.
Seven couples remain in the competition. That means fans are less than a month away from the finale. Halloween Night also marks the return of dance-offs, in which two couples will face each other in the ballroom as they perform the same routine. In honor of this night, we are sharing the top 5 dances.
1. Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach “Us” Contemporary
This was a delightfully spooky treat for DWTS fans. Some dub it as one of the most iconic dances in the show’s history. Nothing has lived up to this contemporary dance.

My Husband Won’t Stop Pranking Me — Help!
Dear Remy,
I am this close to moving into a tent in the backyard. My husband, once a dashing soap star on a Canadian show (filmed in Vancouver, so he was away for months at a time), has taken an alarming turn since his career hit a post-covid slump. With no auditions sticking, he’s decided his true calling is as a YouTube prankster. And guess who’s his unwilling co-star? Me.
In the past two weeks, I’ve been drenched by a water balloon while stepping out of the shower, found fake spiders in my coffee cup and opened our front door to discover what appeared to be a life-size effigy of the two little girls from The Shining staring at me. The neighbors don’t stop by anymore — not since my husband rigged our garage to look like a sinkhole...

Malcolm in the Middle is a wholesome and hilarious sitcom loved by many, and most of us now look back at it with nostalgia. The quirky characters, offbeat humor, and their touching family dynamics are a few things that keep bringing the viewers back to this amazing show. Bryan Cranston as a zany dad, and Frankie Muniz who outsmarted everyone, made the show unique and unbeatable in its own right.

While Frankie Muniz has made the transition to full-time NASCAR driver, he still has great memories of his hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. Although he confesses that he’s never spent a lot of time revisiting the show — “When it was on, I never watched it,” he told People — he’s still in touch with his co-stars, including TV pop Bryan Cranston.
"Bryan has been always such an incredible human,” Muniz says. Cranston has “almost become like a father figure to me. I spent probably more time with my fake family on TV than I did with my real family when we were filming.”
But Muniz didn’t get to meet the fake family’s patriarch until he prepared to film the first scenes of Malcolm in the Middle. “We hadn’t met Bryan because they didn’t cast Bryan, or whoever was going to play (Hal), until a...

When Frankie Muniz broke onto the scene, you could say he was in the middle in a way. And that was part of the problem with it all, and so the Malcolm in the Middle star has shifted gears away from the world of acting and concentrated on the tracks of the fast lane, in part because he knows when he’s succeeding.
Frankie Muniz is on the verge of being a full-time driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the niche brand that focuses on pickup trucks that have essentially been modified to race professionally. And that’s just where Muniz wants to be, saying racecar driving is far more satisfying than the set life. Ashton Kutcher’s current relationship with old pal Diddy is — how do we say it? — uncomfortable. But the That ‘70s Show star should have known to walk away a long time ago. After all, Diddy warned him things could go sideways.
That threat goes back to the days of Punk’d, the MTV prank show Kutcher hosted from 2003 to 2007. The show was originally going to pull jokes on Everyday Joes, until an early prank involving a fake corpse (always hilarious!) resulted in a $10 million lawsuit against Kutcher, MTV and a Vegas hotel. The show was quickly retooled to punk celebrities like Frankie Muniz and Eliza Dushku.
As Kutcher and friends brainstormed new celebs to prank, someone came up with Sean Combs or whatever stage name he was rocking at the time. Lucky for Kutcher, word got to Diddy before any practical jokes were deployed.

Few television characters played by the same actor are as different as Walter White from "Breaking Bad" and Hal Wilkerson from "Malcolm in the Middle," both of whom were portrayed by Bryan Cranston. Hal is a happy-go-lucky dork who doesn't really raise his five sons so much as he grows up alongside them, while Walt is a narcissistic egomaniac who goes from high school chemistry teacher to methamphetamine kingpin. In fact, the characters are so different that executives at AMC originally didn't think Cranston could portray Walt after seeing him shave his whole body as Hal. It's understandable that they might have their doubts because Hal is so very, very silly, but Cranston is also an incredible actor with stupendous range.
A few nervous execs weren't the only thing that nearly stopped Cranston from playing Walt, either. On an episode of the podcast "SmartLess," hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes,...

Witney Carson has had quite the cast of characters line-up as her DWTS partners.

Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden has boarded Renner, the new sci-fi thriller from writer, director and producer Robert Rippberger.
The Pollock and Mystic River star joins an ensemble cast led by Frankie Muniz, Violett Beane and Taylor Gray. Harden will voice the role of Salenus, an artificially intelligent companion designed by computer genius Renner (Muniz).
