It's the year 2024, and we're still trying to get justice for Lizzie McGuire, even in the face of other sitcoms of her era making comebacks. Well, the latest news out of Disney+ revealed another revival of a nostalgic 2000s fan-favorite TV show, and I can't help but feel frustrated.

On Dec. 13, Disney+ shared the unexpected announcement that Malcolm in the Middle will be returning with four all-new episodes with Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek set to reprise their roles. (No word yet on additional cast returns.) The cast members each recorded videos to announce the truly surprising but equally thrilling news with fans.

In addition to Muniz, Cranston, and Kaczmarek returning as Malcolm, Hal, and Lois, Malcolm in the Middle's four revival episodes come from original series creator Linwood Boomer and will we each be directed by Ken Kwapis, who directed 19 episodes between seasons 1-5.

Disney+ will release a limited, four-episode run with cast members Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek reprising their roles as Malcolm’s parents Hal and Lois respectively, Variety reported Friday. Disney+ has ordered a short-run revival of Malcolm in the Middle with original stars Frankie Muniz — who played the title character — along with Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. Series creator Linwood Boomer is also set to return as writer and executive producer of the four-episode revival.

With Linwood Boomer and the creative team at the helm, these new episodes will have all the laughs, pranks and mayhem fans loved — along with a few surprises that remind us why this show is so timeless.

Keanu Reeves never got to drive the bus in “Speed,” but he’ll more than make up for it this weekend – and he’ll be going a lot faster than 50 Mph.

The “John Wick” star was announced this week as the driver of the No. 92 car for a pair of weekend races in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Gr Cup North America series. Based on the street-legal Toyota Gr 86, Reeves’ weekend whip is capable of reaching speeds up to 150 miles per hour.

The starting grid will be made up of more than 30 such identical cars, doing laps around the road course format of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He’ll be following in the wheeltracks drivers in Formula One, IndyCar and NASCAR, all of which have held series events at the twisty track that utilizes much of the speedway’s historic oval.

Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden has boarded Renner, the new sci-fi thriller from writer, director and producer Robert Rippberger.
