- TriviaHe is the one who changed the Argentine cinema. In the 80's with Love is a Fat woman, then in the 90's with The Act in Question, and Buenos Aire Viceversa etc. The superficial local film critics, fought him because he didn't want to talk badly about Julio Maharbiz, who helped to produce Pizza B y Faso, Mundo Grúa, and other movies that helped to keep changing the AR filmmaking, among making possible the law of cinema, gave the status of University to the local school, opened cinemas in order to show films to the newcomers, and re established the Mar del Plata film Festival. Politics tried to shadow Agresti work cynically, but he still is, one of the most original, noble and controversial voices, unjustly attack by his country's mediocre snobbery.
