(1993) Doordarshan was planning a TV Serial on the life of Protima Bedi. Kabir Bedi and Protima's son Siddharth Bedi was signed to portray the role of his father Kabir Bedi. The idea of the TV serial was eventually dropped. This was in 1993.

Jan Nisaar Akhtar was to write the lyrics, with music by Naushad. Kishore Sharma (brother-in-law of Meena Kumari, married to Mehmood's ex-wife) was to produce, while B.R Chopra was to direct.

(1975) Satish Khanna finally launched "Karan" in 1975. Vinod Khanna, Zarina Wahab and Kabir Bedi were signed. Vinod then in the late 70s announced his retirement from films and lost interest in the film. Satish Khanna had waited for years for Vinod Khanna. He kept asking and pleading with Vinod to finish the film. Finally he got tired and replaced Vinod Khanna with Shatrughan Sinha and Zarina with Reena Roy and Kabir Bedi with Vijayendra. He also changed the title to "Kali Basti". Satish Khanna had to scrap the entire film and re shoot with the film with Shatrughan Sinha.

(1985/86) ,Mahesh Bhatt was directing a film titled "Zameen". Starring Hema Malini. Kabir Bedi (Replaced Raj Babbar),Anupam Kher,Brando Bakshi,Kushboo,Ravi Behl, Music by Laxmikant Pyarelal,Produced by Johnny Bakshi and P. Raghunath. The film got shelved.
