- Basically, my philosophy is just to have fun and not be under stress, enjoy what I'm doing and not do anything morally wrong. The only things I can think of which would be morally wrong would be harming animals in a movie, or children--something that really goes against my beliefs.
- I was scared to death of meeting Gunnar Hansen because growing up I saw The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). I thought that guy was a real guy when I was very young. It was a very scary movie like the original The Hills Have Eyes (1977). So, when I met Gunnar, I'm going, "Oh my God, this guy's a maniac! I know he's nuts and he's got this maniacal look in his eye!" I met him and he's the most friendly, wonderful, fantastically cuddly, warmhearted gentleman you'd ever meet in your life. Just a big teddy bear and a pleasure to work with.
- [on Jesús Franco ] I really adored that man. I'd love to work for him again. He had some very different ideas about things. I liked it not being the norm, you know. He had neat ideas and he was off the beaten path. He had ideas about his films and his stories. All I had to do was just go, "You know what? I'm just respecting what you're doing here."
- [on Nightmare Sisters (1988)] I'm in this fat suit and my husband was driving by the set. He'd always stop by just to see how things were going. I'm standing out there on the parkway and he drives by, looks at me and didn't even know who I was. When he came walking up he looked at me and he goes," Is that you?"
- My routine is to learn all of my lines before the start of photography. Then I re-brief the night before my scenes. I'll practice my lines anywhere: around the house, in the shower, in my car. You wouldn't believe the looks I get when I'm screaming my head off while on the freeway.
- When people criticize my work, I tell them they are entitled to their opinions, but that doesn't mean they're right.
- [casting couch] Luckily. I have been able to avoid that. However, I know plenty of jerks who will give you a part in exchange for certain services rendered.
- [staying in shape for nude scenes] I work out, run, and try to watch my diet. But it's never easy on a shoot with the junk food that's around all the time.
- [her family's reaction to her nude scenes] They're basically split. After a while, my parents praised the funny and dramatic sides of my performances and stopped chastising me about the nudity and violence. Some of my siblings, however, are still not supportive of my work and, at times, that hurts.
