Had acted professionally for over 10 years before winning a coveted place at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney.
Gareth is trained in Wu Shu and Kung Fu (Chinese Martial Arts) by Master Tang Lai Wei (who was training mates with Jet Li in the legendary Beijing Wu Shu team of the 1970s and 1980s).
Played 'Michael' in the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of "Melancholia" by Malthouse Theatre - the role played by Alexander Skarsgard in Lars von Trier's film.
