Vaudevillian, radio singer and big band vocalist with the orchestras of Eddie Duchin, Richard Himber, Hal Kemp, Raymond Scott, Teddy Wilson and Freddie Rich. Her career stalled in 1949 after the surgical removal of a cancerous growth from her throat.
