Following an initial three-day engagement that kicked off on Monday, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare is extending its theatrical run with 75 different locations across the country.

From Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, the newest entry into the Poohniverse will continue its flight on the big screen until January 23. Tickets are available through Iconic Events.

The twisted take on the childhood classic is written and directed by Scott Chambers, who produced the Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey films in addition to starring in the second installment as Christopher Robin.

Whether you asked for it or not, Prime Video’s epic fantasy series based on The Lord of the Rings appendices by legendary author J.R.R. Tolkien is back with its much-anticipated second season. Created by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, The Rings of Power had a pretty turbulent first season even with its massive budget of $1 billion but still it was one of the most watched shows on Prime Video, so maybe this season the creators of the series will change hearts and minds of frustrated fans.

In Season 2, Sauron has officially returned and after being cast out by Galadriel and without any allies he must rebuild his power through his cunning to oversee the creation of the Rings of Power. His ultimate plan with the rings is to bend the people of Middle-earth to his will. While the Dark Lord is rising our heroes are also getting ready for his eventual attack.

A renowned Lord of the Rings character who didn’t see the light of day in the Peter Jackson movies is finally making his grand debut in season 2 of Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and that’s Tom Bombadil, who’ll be played by already announced Rory Kinnear. In this first look from “Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare” — from the makers of slasher horror hit “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” — Martin Portlock plays an evil, murderous and disfigured version of the children’s character.

The Jagged Edge Productions film — being sold by ITN Studios in Cannes — follows Wendy Darling as she strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from “the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.” Along the way she meets Tinkerbell, who in this twisted version of the story will be seen taking heroine, convinced that it’s pixie dust. It was announced on Monday (20 March) that three new actors will appear in the forthcoming season.

These include Rory Kinnear, Tanya Moodie and Irish actor Ciarán Hinds, who appeared in HBO series Thrones as Mance Rayder as well as the cable channel’s Rome, playing Julius Caesar.

Prime Video announced on Wednesday that Charlotte Brändström, Sanaa Hamri and Louise Hooper will be directing the second season of the “Lord of the Rings” series, which is currently in production in the U.K.
