The actor Max Wogritsch began his career as a musician and he appeared as a cellist.

Max Wogritsch was engaged by Tobis as an employee for the audio engineering department in the 30's.

With the rise of the sound film his film career ended.

He already joined the film business in 1911 where he took part in the silent movies "Halbwelt" (1911), "Zouza" (1911), "Die Sünden der Väter" (1913) and "Ketten der Vergangenheit" (1914).

His most busy time in front of the camera came at the beginning of the 20s. Afterwards his career drew to a close.

During his stay in Switzerland he made his stage debut at the Zürcher Stadttheater in 1906. In the next years followed engagements in other cities like Düsseldorf and Berlin.

Max Wogritsch was already active as a production manager since the 20s too.
