Actress and dancer, trained for ballet from childhood. Became a protégé of Erik Charell in 1926 and joined the ensemble of Berlin's Große Schauspielhaus, appearing in revues and operettas. She appeared in several films of the early 1930's, then married an Englishman, gave up performing and moved to Sussex.
