In 2010, Jason won the DGA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Directing Comedy Series for Modern Family.
He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
After seven , long grueling auditions ..Jason finally landed the lead role of head munchkin in the 1981 movie "Under the Rainbow".
Jason made his acting debut at age 8, as Pedi, in the 1980 original musical, "When It Is Dark Enough, You Can See The Stars;" written and directed by Mark Resnick, with a score and musical direction by Scott Freiman.
