Luck Runs Out

After getting stabbed with a syringe of digitalis, Lucky (temporarily played by Guy Wilson) fell to the floor. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) managed to escape while Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) called 911 and gave an unconscious Lucky chest compressions.

The news of Lucky’s condition traveled fast through Port Charles, Anna (Finola Hughes) learning through a work call while Elizabeth called Laura (Genie Francis). As soon as Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) entered the hospital room, Elizabeth immediately told him it was digitalis, prompting him to get the counter drug to try and save Lucky’s life.

Liz’s son wasn’t expecting to introduce Dad, but that’s what he did (Guy Wilson was temporarily playing Lucky).

Lucky has been pretty absent in both mother and son’s lives for quite some time.

Curtis is still at The Savoy with his aunt Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) as he asks her a family favor. He tells her there may be a favor that only she can provide.

Perhaps he needs her to do something in her role as patient advocate at Gh, possibly getting him some information about someone?

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers indicate that Lucky Spencer will look a tad different in the days to come, as starting Tuesday, February 18, actor Guy Wilson will be temporarily recast in the role, taking over for Jonathan Jackson. More details, below.

Gh’s Lucky Spencer – Temporary Recast

According to Soap Opera Digest (Sod), Wilson will appear as Lucky for only a ‘handful’ of episodes. Jackson has already gone back to shooting with the soap and will return to shows later in February. F

ans may recognize Wilson from his time on Days of Our Lives (Dool), where he was recast in another legacy role, Will Horton. He was on the Salem soap from 2014 to 2015.

The role of Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital” will temporarily be played by former “Days of our Lives” star Guy Wilson (ex-Will Horton), beginning with the Tuesday, February 18 episode, Soap Opera Network can confirm.

Jonathan Jackson, who originated the role in 1993, and has appeared off and on ever since (with two other actors assuming the role in between), returned to the series on a full-time basis in August 2024, signing a multi-year contract with the daytime drama series.

In the episode airing on Tuesday, Lucky (Wilson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are finally introduced to Aiden’s (Colin Cassidy) romantic friend, Tobias, who he had been talking about continuously since coming out to his mom in the December 20, 2023 episode of the series.

The name of the actor portraying Tobias was not released at press time, nor was the reason for the temporary switch in actors for Lucky Spencer.

There’s going to be a cast absence from General Hospital this week and fans might be wondering what is going on!

Well, it looks like Jonathan Jackson will be out at General Hospital starting on Tuesday (February 18).

Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) started on a hunt to find his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz), who was taken from her home by rapist Kurt Dockweiler (David Denman). Between the abduction and being buried alive, Maddie is forever changed by the ordeal personally and professionally as a young cop in Los Angeles. After Bosch and Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) find Maddie safe, they’ve got to deal with their own issues. These include having the FBI led by Agent William Baron (Anthony Michael Hall) on their tail, stemming from the Carl Rogers murder in the first season. Making matters worse are crooked detectives Don Ellis (Max Martini) and Kevin Long (Guy Wilson), who are out to pin a murder on Chandler’s innocent client David Foster (Patrick Brennan), and take Bosch and Chandler down in the process.

Loosely based on Michael Connelly’s The Crossing, Season 2 of the Titus Welliver-led Freevee series pics up right where Season 1 left off, with Harry’s daughter (played by Madison Lintz) having been abducted by the lucha libre mask-wearing man we saw hiding in her closest at the close of the freshman finale.

Harry Bosch is returning to Amazon Freevee on Oct. 20 – and he’s taking matters into his own hands to save his daughter in a new teaser for “Bosch: Legacy” Season 2.

The drama series’ second season finds Bosch (Titus Welliver) working alongside Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) to track down a masked assailant who kidnapped his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) before time runs out. But as the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder, Bosch and Chandler are placed under suspicion.

In the clip, Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) tells Bosch that he needs to let authorities do their job to find his daughter, to which he replies: “Don’t cut me out!.” He also makes clear that while the FBI has to do things the “right way,” those rules don’t apply to him.

Bosch: Legacy, the spinoff series in the Bosch franchise, has earned a third season renewal from Amazon Freevee, the free ad-supported television platform, ahead of its second season premiere this fall.

Bosch: Legacy follows Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, as a retired homicide detective turned private investigator on the next chapter of his career. The series also features attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, played by Mimi Rogers, and Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch, a rookie police officer.

During the second season, Bosch and Chandler work together to seek out a killer who just might find them first. The flagship series from Michael Connelly, writer and executive producer, ran for seven seasons on Amazon proper and starred Welliver as Bosch.

“The story of Harry Bosch has evolved over the years, and his journey is far from over. This renewal of Bosch: Legacy is a testament to the enduring power of the world Michael Connelly built.

Bosch: Legacy has been renewed for Season 3 at Freevee, well ahead of the series’ sophomore run (which is still on track to premiere this fall).

According to Amazon, which announced the pickup as part of its NewFront presentation on Monday, the first season of Bosch: Legacy (which streamed in May 2022) “built on the loyal fan base of the original series and enticed new audiences,” delivering a “higher number of viewers than any previous season of Bosch” (which of course streamed on Prime Video proper).

Harry Bosch will continue to crack cases for the foreseeable future. Ahead of the Season 2 premiere this fall, Bosch: Legacy, the spinoff of the longrunning Amazon crime series, has been renewed for a third season. “Bosch: Legacy” has been renewed for Season 3 at Amazon Freevee ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere.

The announcement was made ahead of Amazon’s NewFront presentation in New York on May 1. The first season of “Bosch: Legacy” debuted on Freevee in May 2022, with Season 2 set to air this fall. Like its predecessor, the Prime Video series “Bosch,” the Freevee series is based on the Bosch novels written by Michael Connelly.

Fans were surprised when Emmy-winning actors Freddie Smith and Chandler Massey were let go from “Days of Our Lives” — almost as surprised as the actors themselves were. Their co-star Wally Kurth has also expressed his condolences about their exit, but also suggested the possibility that they might make a comeback.
