Writer, producer Alan Wenkus has written several riveting big screen biopics including the F. Gary Gray directed "Straight Outta Compton" and the recently announced big screen biopic of country music legend George Jones. Alan also partnered with rock and roll icon John Fogerty on "Fortunate Son' the authorized story of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. With an upcoming series he created for ABC Alan has expanded into the Limited Series genre and is working with "Shark Tank's" Daymond John on a dramatic series about Daymond's hip-hop apparel brand FUBU. Alan was a screenwriter and programming executive with Premiere Radio and iHeart Media when he began a series of interviews with former NWA manager Jerry Heller and Eazy E's widow Tomica Wright that developed into the screenplay "Straight Outta Compton." Among his upcoming projects, Alan has recently finished a big screen biopic of Boston Red Sox slugger Ted Williams called "Teddy Ballgame" and is adapting the thrilling New York Times bestseller "Code Name: Johnny Walker" into a major motion picture. A former writer for "The Tonight Show" Wenkus has also done uncredited rewrites for Warner Brothers, Tri-Star Pictures, New Line Pictures and Universal Pictures.
