21st Century Fox executive chairman Rupert Murdoch had a message for a reporter who asked if he was worried about the on-going sexual harassment claims at his cable news juggernaut: “There is nothing happening at Fox News.” BBC Media Editor Amol Rajan confronted Murdoch over British media regulator Ofcom’s investigation into whether of not Fox would be a “fit and proper” owner of United Kingdom pay TV giant Sky. Fox bid $14.4 billion for all of Sky, of which it already owns a 39 percent stake. But Attorney Lisa Bloom and Bill O’Reilly accuser Wendy Walsh want to make sure Ofcom is aware.

Two women who helped bring down Bill O’Reilly at Fox News are in London to state their case to British media regulator Ofcom as 21st Century Fox attempts to take over United Kingdom pay TV giant Sky. Fox bid $14.4 billion for all of Sky, of which it already owns a 39 percent stake, but Attorney Lisa Bloom and O’Reilly accuser Wendy Walsh want to make sure Ofcom is aware of the culture they believe existed at Fox News Channel, according to Reuters. Ofcom is investigating whether of not Fox would be a “fit and proper” owner of Sky. The deal was cleared.

Feminist attorney Lisa Bloom and Dr. Wendy Walsh, who was a guest no Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor, today called for an independent investigation into "the culture of sexual harassment" at Fox News Channel. "Apparently Fox News does not think the anti-discrimination laws apply to them," Bloom said at a packed press conference at her offices in Woodland Hills. "They believe they can just pay woman after woman to go away and keep harassers in place to victimize the…...

Radio host Dr. Wendy Walsh, who has accused Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly of sexual harassment but is not one of the five women included in today’s bombshell Page One New York Times report, will hold a press conference tomorrow to address “new demands.” Walsh’s attorney Lisa Bloom tweeted the announcement (see it below) today, and told CNN’s Brian Stelter that she would call for an “independent investigation” into sexual harassment at Fox News. She said Walsh is not seeking…...

"But some of my best friends are [fill in the blank oppressed minority group]" has never, ever worked as an excuse during any kind of discussion on social issues such as race, class, sexuality, and the like and you'd think that someone appearing on national television would know that. Dr. Wendy Walsh is CNN's "Human Behavior Analyst" and you'd really think that she would know that, but during a heated discussion on live TV she pulled out the "multiracial family" card to back up her "in-depth knowledge" about the black experience. To make it worse, Walsh, who could not be any blonder or whiter, said this to CNN's Don Lemon and fellow guest Alicia Walters, both of whom are black.

Writing exclusively for Celebuzz, Wendy Walsh, Ph.D. — author of the forthcoming ‘The 30-Day Love Detox’ – argues Robert Pattinson can forgive and forget girlfriend Kristen Stewart‘s infidelity. The psychotherapist explains how. All seems calm in the Robert Pattinson household these days. Except that since Kristen Stewart’s highly publicized affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, there are actually two houses. It’s not...Read more»...

Chicago – Charlie Kaufman (“Adaptation,” “Being John Malkovich”) once wrote for a TV sitcom so odd that its network and most of the U.S. had no idea what to make of it. Without question, “Get a Life” was ahead of its time. So much of the twisted comedy of 2012 owes a debt to this true oddity from two decades ago, a unique gem that is finally getting a complete series release years after fans started clamoring for it.
Rating: 4.5/5.0
Was it worth the wait? First and foremost, the show is much funnier than I remembered. As the audio commentary points out (and there’s one on every episode), the series premiere of “Get a Life” was a relatively straightforward comedy about a man-child. It wasn’t nearly as dark and twisted as it would later become. Quickly, “Get a Life” turned more into a show about a demented loner and...

On Monday night, Showbiz Tonight anchor A.J. Hammer was joined by Wendy Walsh, co-host of The Doctors, to talk about Family Guy's latest episode, "Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q." The episode dealt with Quagmire's sister, Brenda, coming to town to help him recover from an auto-erotic asphyxiation accident and being constantly abused by her boyfriend, Jeff. "Like so many other people, I was just shocked by what I saw on Family Guy last night," Hammer said of the explicit beatings administered by Jeff, and the sad reaction of Brenda. "It was really just a depressing half hour of television."...

Dr. Wendy Walsh: When American pop star Lady Gaga divulged to CNN's Larry King and his millions of viewers that she has "borderline lupus," I scratched my head. I watched my own mother battle the disease for most of her life until her death from breast cancer, and I myself have what's known as a positive Ana (antinuclear antibody test), meaning that I carry the gene.
So what about Gaga? Does she have lupus, or not? Is there even such a thing as "borderline lupus"? Well, the nature of lupus is such that it is darned hard to diagnose, and doctors depend on a battery of tests (combined with symptomology reports) to make a complete diagnosis. Gaga could have tested positive for some things and not others, which means that technically speaking, she does not have lupus.

To feel the pain of an affair is bad enough, but combine that with the media stalking your every move and splashing it across every magazine in America ...!
Dr. Wendy Walsh: Any wife who has been cheated on knows the visceral effect of embarrassment in her social circle. The gossips on the periphery of her every move sing muffled chants about her role in the affair or why she bothers to stay in the marriage. But when that everyday wife appears in person, the tongues quiet and public smiles replace the wagging tongues.
A famous wife knows an entirely different kind of public embarrassment. She looks no further than her supermarket aisles, the local radio or the national news for the openly wagging tongues. Our hearts bleed for Sandra Bullock, Elizabeth Edwards and Elin Woods -- and so we moralize, we bemuse and we give advice as if these women were our own sisters.

I think men can learn a lot from Tiger today.
Dr. Wendy Walsh: I'm weeping as I type this. I am a chick after all. Having just watched Tiger Woods emotional apology to his friends, family, employees, business partners, and foundation beneficiaries, I am simply moved. I am also confused. I am wondering why an athlete in Florida whom I have never met nor seen in public can cause me, a single mother in Los Angeles, to have such a blubbering event.
And the answer is simple. There are few women in America who do not long to hear such words of contrition and kindness from a man, and Tiger is as likely a surrogate for healing as anyone. At some point in their lives, most women have been deeply injured by some man's selfishness -- whether it was infidelity, or violence, or stingy child support. And here is...

If you knew you only had one day to live, what would be on your mind?

Yes, he is dead wrong for his adulterous behavior, but even God forgives. Who are you to cast the stone? Jesus said, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone." Are you without sin Dr.? We need to pray for him and his wife and children, not cast self-righteous,...

Tiger Woods. It's the relationship story that won't die. The latest: He's taking a break from golf.
Dr. Wendy Walsh: Part of the public's fascination with Tiger Woods' personal drama is voyeurism. Nothing more than a titillating peak behind the curtain of a rich and celebrated life. But the other reason we are so polarized about Tiger --- the athlete, the role model, or the husband -- is because he is a famous (and extreme) example of the "no rules relationship revolution" that everyone is experiencing. Today's relationship landscape is a place where hook ups have replaced dating and big white weddings walk side-by-side with staggering divorce rates. It's a place where cougars stalk and divorced men scratch their heads and wonder what went wrong. And "free sex" is the oxymoron that rules. The by product: Every year, 40 percent of American children are born out of wedlock. Children...

Tiger, you were made famous by the public. Why do you think it's your right to hide from them?
Dr. Wendy Walsh: A growing number of women have been coming out of the woodwork with stories of mega-athlete Tiger Woods' marital indiscretions, and the media has been having a field day speculating about his infidelities -- and the true cause of his injuries sustained on Thanksgiving night. But is this fair? Do couples having problems always deserve privacy? Well, most do, but not when the couple contains a man like Tiger Woods. Here's why:
Tiger Woods is not rich and famous because he is a good golfer. Tiger is famous because the public paid money to attend his tourneys and tuned in to watch him on television (along with many targeted commercials). He is rich because consumers doled out hard-earned income to purchase products that he endorses --...

TV mom Meredith Baxter has come out and revealed she is a lesbian, saying it was a "later in life recognition." Could the same thing happen with you?
Dr. Wendy Walsh: I know. To some of you, this sounds like a version of the old joke ... "If any of my supportive gal pals grew a certain appendage, I'd give up on men and marry her in an instant."
But today, we are in an era where our cultural taboo against bisexual behavior seems to be lifting for women. In addition to the announcement by Meredith Baxter, Black Eyed Peas' singer Fergie recently said that she is bisexual. Fergie joins other celebrities including P!nk, Lady Gaga, and Megan Fox in coming out as "bi." This public openness about bisexuality may have started with the high-profile breakup of Ellen DeGeneres and Anne Heche, after which Anne Heche resumed dating men.

Dr. Wendy Walsh: Two days. That's when "New Moon," the second movie in the "Twilight" series, comes out. I know this fact because I have heard my 11-year-old daughter say it today over and over again. I think she has given me a "New Moon" update today the same number of times as the average number of pages in a "Twilight" book. That's 611, for you novices.
When the "Twilight" craze first descended on my home, I was delighted that such literary tomes sat at the bedside of my fifth grader. There are 2,446 pages in the four-book series, and she devoured the first book in three days. Then we rented the movie and watched it together.
Having been warned by a few moms in the village, I was prepared to find many "teaching moments" in the screening. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was entertaining for both of us. It...

At 8:30 Am on August 30, Tammy Gollinger's phone rang. It was the phone call every soldier's mother dreads.
Dr. Wendy Walsh: There had been a bomb attack on a humvee in Iraq that was being driven by her 20-year-old son, Private Randy Gollinger. The humvee was destroyed. The only thing the government employee was able to tell her was that her son was alive -- but barely.
"My immediate thought was, 'I have to get to him. I need to be there!'"
But as the days progressed, the impossibility of her urges sunk in, and her anxiety got worse. "I got so many calls from so many different bureaucrats, giving me all kinds of conflicting reports, we had no idea how severe his injuries were until a week later" -- and no word from Randy himself because he was mostly unconscious.
Then he was transferred to a hospital in Germany,...

First Lady of California Maria Shriver is known for her activism. Now she's releasing a study that shows, for the first time, American women really are bringing home the bacon.
The comprehensive national study, called The Shriver Report: A Woman's Nation Changes Everything, is set for release October 16. In a preview, the findings are astonishing. The report says, "For the first time in our nation's history, one-half of all U.S. workers are women, and mothers are the primary breadwinners or co-breadwinners in two-thirds of American families."
According to a post on this year's Women's Conference website, this report focused on how "women can turn their pivotal role as wage-earners, as consumers, as bosses, as opinion-shapers, as co-equal partners in whatever we do into a potent force for change," adding "economic power gives women a new seat at the table -- at the head of the table."
After the report is released,...
