Jindrich Vodicka was born on 17 February 1923 in Ledec nad Sázavou, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer, known for The Tales of Pouch the Beetle (1978), Za zivot radostný (1951) and O listonosi, který nechtel chodit (1976). He died on 8 July 2009.
