She was crowned Miss New York City in 1948 as Connie Inge Ronde. Before that she was best known as a model primarily for Vogue Fashions. In the mid 1950's she was a performer in "The Latin Quarter" of NYC, did print and television commercials, voice overs, dubbing for foreign films and later in life was a big influence in the live theatre community in Newburyport, MA. She is survived by a son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
