On the music video Andres collaborated with filmmakers Eric Byler and Warren Fu. The Youtube hit starred volunteers from across the country and included special appearances by Senator Gil Cedillo, actors Kelly Hu, Ken Leung, Kal Penn and activists Wendy Carrillo, and Annabel Park.

- Andres Useche wrote and recorded the song "Marching into the Light" to push for immigration reform and to protest the passing of Arizona's anti-immigrant SB 1070 law. The music video for this song shows Andres singing in Arizona and around the country, participating in rallies and marches to support the cause. Andres also took to the airways making TV appearances in news programs to denounce what he felt was racial profiling implicit in SB 1070 and calling for compassion, unity and comprehensive immigration reform in the United States.
- On a newspaper interview given on opening day, Useche called his "Aun Aqui" film a tribute to the disappeared and a call to activism and non-violent protest. The film premiered on the United Nations' International Human Right's day.
- In 2012 Andres Useche wrote a second song in support of Immigration Reform and the DREAMers called "Dream to Belong", aided DREAM Act organizations, sang in support of immigrants in the U.S. and backed efforts which culminated in the Obama administration's "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" (DACA) initiative which grants protection from deportation and work permits to the undocumented youth.
