Dainara Toffoli is a Brazilian director, creator, and producer. Born in Porto Alegre, she began her career as a trainee in the classic short film "Ilha das Flores" (1989) by Jorge Furtado. Soon after, she made her debut as a director with the award-winning short "Um Homem Sério."
Since then, she directed advertising films for 17 years, documentaries, and fiction works, such as the features "Dona Helena" (2006) and "Mar de Dentro" (2022) and the series "Antônia" (TV Globo, 2007), "Lili, a ex" (GNT, 2016), "Amigo de aluguel" (Universal TV, 2018-2019), "As Five" (Globoplay, 2020 and 2023), "Manhãs de Setembro" (Prime Video, 2021 and 2022) and "De volta aos 15" (Netflix, 2022).
Dainara believes diverse representativeness (both on screen and backstage) is essential, and many of her productions immerse in the female universe and social agendas through pop culture.
