The list of guest stars who will voice characters in the Chris Rock animated comedy, Everybody Still Hates Chris, has been released and to say it is star-studded is an understatement! Check out the names, below.

The upcoming comedy Everybody Still Hates Chris is the most star-studded feature we’ve seen in a while! It is an animated series, so it is easier to accommodate big names compared to a live-action show, and it sure did take advantage of that fact! The animated comedy from Chris Rock will follow stories inspired by Rock’s experiences growing up in Brooklyn, all narrated by Rock himself. It's a reboot of the animated series. Watch the trailer for it here.

Exclusive: Chris Rock’s animated series Everybody Still Hates Chris is lining up the stars.

The series, which is set to premiere on Comedy Central on September 25, has unveiled a swathe of guest stars including Ayo Edebiri, Sally Jessy Raphael and Busta Rhymes.

The Bear star, talk show host and rapper will be joined by the likes of Tisha Campbell, Sam Richardson and Bell Biv DeVoe members Ricky Bell, Michael L. Bivins, Ronald Boyd DeVoe Jr.

Chicago – Television has changed so much in the last generation that it’s hard to imagine a time of only three networks and a limited number of shows premiering every fall. But in the 1970s there were two such TV series, “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries,” starring Parker Stevenson, and “What’s Happening!!,” starring Ernest Thomas. They both made appearances at the “Hollywood Show” in Chicagoland.

The “Hollywood Show” is an event in which fans can mingle, take photographs and get autographs from the celebrities who appear there, and takes place in Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. "Cooley High" ought to be remembered as a cinema milestone, and its writer and director remembered as pioneers.

Released 40 years ago this week (on June 25, 1975), it ought to be celebrated for its vast influence on movies, TV, and music. As a young-men-coming-of-age movie, it deserves to be mentioned alongside Fellini's "I Vitelloni," George Lucas's "American Graffiti," Barry Levinson's "Diner," and John Singleton's "Boyz N the Hood." And yet, the film and its creators have been largely forgotten, lost to history.

The story behind "Cooley High" is even more dramatic than the comedy-drama that unspooled on the screen. It's the story of Kenneth Williams, who, like protagonist Preach, left Chicago's Cabrini-Green projects with dreams of becoming a Hollywood screenwriter. Having dropped out of high school, he hitchhiked from the Windy City to Hollywood with $5 in his pocket and no connections, and for a while he supported himself selling drugs.

Anchor Bay Films has released a new trailer and poster for Rob Zombie's upcoming crazy looking movie The Lords of Salem. I'm not the biggest fan of Zombie's previous films, but this one looks interesting. I've also heard good things about it, so I'm willing to go in with an open mind. From what I've seen in the trailer, there's some really creepy, cool visuals--ya gotta love the eerie Satan horror vibe. It looks like it could be Rosemary's Baby on Satan steroids.

Two bits of news to share regarding a pair of 2013 releases.  Categorized under "no duh..." an MPAA rating for Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem has been revealed.

The writer-director took to Facebook to reveal that, yes, the film will arrive with an R rating.  According to Zombie, the film is R for "disturbing violent and sexual content, graphic nudity, language, and some drug use."

The Lords of Salem was picked up by Anchor Bay and stars an exhaustive ensemble which includes Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Bruce Davison, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ken Foree, Barbara Crampton, Michael Berryman, Sid Haig, Judy Geeson, Sheri Moon Zombie and Patricia Quinn.  Click here for plot details.

Many people have been closely watching the development of Rob Zombie’s newest foray into horror, The Lords Of Salem, a sure to be grisly look at the occult. It got its premiere at Tiff and now, thanks to Anchor Bay Films, we have the first trailer for the film! Enjoy.

After a rumored bidding war even before its premiere during the "Midnight Madness" track of the 37th Toronto International Film Festival, Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem has finally clinched its U.S. distribution and that honor goes to Anchor Bay Films. 

Written and directed by Zombie, helmer of House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, the Halloween remake and its sequel, the movie stars his wife Sheri Moon Zombie as a Salem, Massachusetts radio station DJ named Heidi who is sent a record inside a wooden box which triggers flashbacks to the town's violent past.  It also stars  Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Bruce Davison, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ken Foree, Barbara Crampton, Michael Berryman and  Sid Haig.

On the final day of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, Us distribution rights to Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem (review here) were acquired by Anchor Bay Films.

After much speculation and a heated bidding war, Anchor Bay Films emerged as the new home for Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem. Under the agreement, Anchor Bay will handle all U.S. distribution rights on the film. Written and directed by Rob Zombie, The Lords of Salem stars Sheri Moon Zombie (Halloween) as well as Bruce Davison (X-Men), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Halloween 2), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead), Patricia Quinn (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Dee Wallace (E.T.) and Judy Geeson (To Sir, With Love). The film premiered last week at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and received rave reviews from mainstream and genre critics alike. Lords of Salem, written and directed by Rob Zombie, is due for theatrical release later this year. Rob Zombie has been rolling out a series of promo posters for his Toronto International Film Festival entry, The Lords of Salem.  Until now, they've taken on a blue tint.  Today, however, Zombie released a new teaser which, I presume, will be part of the "red" series.
