Christopher Telles graduated from Texas State University as a Journalism Major/Communication Design minor, during which he started his career in film and soon after, series television, wearing many hats. In 1996 Telles' first office assistant job was for Richard Linklater and Anne Walker-McBay at Detour Film Production. It was there he first started working with actors. The next time Telles would do much the same was during MTV's Austin Stories (1997) under creator/director George Verschoor and George Sledge... Telles' first television series gig.
While not playing music, Christopher worked in post production for a reality series in Maine and later as a location manager for another in Austin, Telles worked as Coordinating Assistant at Robert Rodriguez and Elizabeth Avellan at Troublemaker Studios on Spy Kids 2 (2002)_ and later for the Art Department for _Spy Kids 3-D (2003)_ and Sin City (2005). Upon completion of those he helped develop music oriented programming for a start up cable channel. There, Telles won Telly Awards for programming including documentaries about Austin's Paramount Theatre, Slam Poetry, and concert performances with Willie Nelson and Hanson, as well as daily programming and producing/directing those developed.
Overlapping, Telles worked in Casting Departments along side Beth Sepko. The first project was a children's film called How to Eat Fried Worms (2006). Telles would even provide bilingual consultation for films like, the Mike Judge classic Idiocracy (2006) and Rick Linklater's Fast Food Nation (2006) where Telles began to also assist on the 12-year project now called Boyhood (2014). Continuously, Christopher worked with Beth as part of her lovely crew on Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), both Machete (2010) films and indie horror king, Eduardo Sánchez , Exists (2014); plus a multiple of Texas television series and/or their pilots including all TNT's Dallas (2012) episodes/seasons to date, all Rodriguez's "From Dusk 'til Dawn" (El Rey Network) episodes to date, The Good Guys (2010) FOX, Lone Star (2010)" ABC, 'John Ridley' (gv) ABC pilot _American Crime (2014)_" and under 'Ed Johnston' on A Night in Old Mexico (2013).
