Born in the backwoods of British Columbia, Ron fell in love with acting while still in grade school. His parent (Michael Tarrant and Marsha Tarrant) encouraged him and helped him pass the audition that led to him studying at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. He graduated with honors and went on to work across Canada and in the U.S.
