Joanna Szczepkowska is a Polish actress, writer, and pedagogue. She graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 1975. Her acting career spans several theaters in Warsaw including Wspolczesny Theatre, Arnold Szyfman Theatre, and Powszechny Theatre. She made her debut on television in the 1970s TV series Czterdziestolatek (1975). Other notable roles include Chronicle of Amorous Accidents (1986) and Matka Królów (1987). She is also a writer, with works such as "Miasta do wynajecia", a collection of poetry, and "Fragmenty z zycia lustra". In 2010, she was elected President of the Union of Polish Stage Actors, becoming the first woman to hold this post.
