- [high school] I didn't belong in high school ever. It wasn't really my cup of tea. I'm not a terribly social animal. I'm an only child, so I like my alone time. I'm not real comfortable navigating large groups of people, and that's all high school is about, right? I pretty much couldn't wait to get out of there.
- [early acting roles] As luck would have it, I looked really, really young for my age, so I got an agent in commercials because I looked so young for my age. I could say dialogue okay, so I started going on commercial auditions and I got a bunch of commercials. I just sort of fell into it kind of by accident.
