- Hans Stock was born on March 28, 1867 in Dresden, Germany. He was an actor, known for Stuart Webbs: Die Toten erwachen (1915), Der Mann, der nicht nein sagen kann (1938) and Die Ehre des Hauses (1914). He died in 1947 in Germany.
- Hans Stock was able to make a brief comeback in the sound film era of the 30s and he impersonated support roles in the movies "Blut und Boden" (1933), "Die grosse Chance" (1934) and "Der Mann, der nicht nein sagen kann" (1938) with Heinz Rühmann in the leading role.
- The actor Hans Stock made his theater debut in 1887 in Dresden where he got his first engagement at the Hoftheater. In the next years followed appearances on other German stages, among others in Munich and Berlin. He also went on tour which led him to important cities like Moscow and London.
- In 1928 he took part in one of the very first sound film experiences with the short movie "Dein ist mein Herz" (1928).
- At the beginning of the 20s followed numerous other silent movies with Hans Stock. Afterwards his film career diminished.
