Daughter of Diana Rigg and Archibald Hugh Stirling.

She can speak Russian and is highly skilled at horse-riding and jumping.

Has a degree in History of Art from Edinburgh University.

Of Clan Maxwell, of the Stirling-Maxwell, of Pollok, Baronets, in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia, her father is Laird of the Keir House and Estate in Lecropt, Bridge of Allan, Stirling, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, by whom she descends illegitimately from Charles II Stuart, King of England, King of Scotland, King of Ireland, and also from a first cousin of his, the grandmother of George I, King of Great-Britain, King of Ireland. She is also a distant relative of Sir Winston Churchill and Rupert Everett.

Is a former member of the UK's National Youth Theatre, for whom she played Desdemona opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor's Othello.

Married her boyfriend, Guy Garvey in a secret ceremony in Manchester, England on 3 June 2016.

May 2005: in a stage production of Theatre Of Blood at the Lyttleton Theatre, London, she played the role of 'Miranda Lionheart'. This character (originally named Edwina) was played in the film by her mother, Diana Rigg.

Her father, Archibald Stirling is the nephew of Colonel Sir David Stirling, founder of the Special Air Service (SAS).

Appearing in the theatre version of "Theatre of Blood" at the National Theatre, London, playing the role that her mother, Diana Rigg, played in the film, Theater of Blood (1973). (May 2005)

She attended Wycombe Abbey in Buckinghamshire, where she spent most of her time at the theatre.

Her father's first marriage to Charmian Scott produced two sons, William (Willy) a writer and Ludovic (Ludo) a designer, her half-brothers with whom she is very close.

Her favourite song is Bob Dylan's 'Lay Lady Lay' because it reminds her of times with her mother.

Has played two characters with the Phoenix in common, in Lewis S02E03 (Life Born of Fire) she played a character who was killing people under the pseudonym of The Phoenix and then in The Game, she was hunting a spy called The Phoenix.

Gave birth to her son, Jack Stirling Garvey in April 2017. The child's father is her husband, Guy Garvey.

Was engaged to Oliver Chris until 2012. They were in a relationship from 2007.
