- Maria Ivanova Statulova is Bulgarian theater and cinema actress. In 1975, she graduated from acting in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in class of Professor Boyan Danovski and the next year received the prize of Union of Bulgarian Actors for best young actor. During the years she had a troupe experience in theaters in Kardzhali and Yambol . Then she played in the Satire Theatre in Sofia . In 1977 Maria Statulova has made her cinema debut in the film "Advantage", directed by Georgi Djulgerov. That movie cleared her a path to the Bulgarian cinema. Among the many films in which she had roles are " Stolen Eyes " (2005), " Danube Bridge " (1999), " All For Love " (1986), " Manoeuvres on the fifth floor " (1985), " Adaptation "(1981)," Ladies Choice "(1980)," The Roof" (1978). She participates in the series "Forbidden Love", "Seven Hours Difference", "Glass House" ,"Stolichani more" ,"Undercover".
