- Hanala Sagal is a screenwriter and co-exec producer of "Elvis & Nixon," the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival Winner. The award-winning writer is a Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based comedian, singer, artist and activist. Hanala produced Cable TV's "Shape Up L.A!" as Suzan Stadner (1983-2000) creating the first vlog.
On YouTube since 2007, Hanala's "Comedy Wellness" channel has 500 Million minutes watched.
She is a Finalist in the 2012 PAGE Screenwriting Awards and a 2017 Nominee for the Hedy Lamarr Award for Innovation in Entertainment Technology.
Hanala has appeared as an expert and an actress in over 100 TV shows and movies.
Her bestselling memoir, "My Parents Went Through the Holocaust and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt" is studied in schools and is featured in "The Last Laugh" (2016 Tribeca Spotlight Film.)
