Edward Skórzewski was a Polish movie director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. He began his career in 1954 at the Warsaw Documentary Film Studio as a director of documentary movies. From 1954 to 1963, he collaborated with Jerzy Hoffman. After ending his collaboration with Hoffman, Skórzewski independently directed documentary movies.
