Being the daughter of Gerd Siemoneit, owner of Circus Barum, she made her debut as an artist at the age of four.

Has been chairwoman of Circus Barum since 2001.

When she was engaged to play a character on the weekly soap opera Lindenstraße (1985), she moved to Cologne, while her family toured with the circus.

Has two children, Joshua (born in 1998) and Rachel (born in 1999).
