Barbara Sigel was nominated for a Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Newcomer Female in 1974 for the role of Michele in Time To Run (1973). She was discovered by the Ford Modeling Agency, then was signed with the William Morris Agency and she also worked for Universal. She had many guest roles in a number of TV series episodes, some of which were, The Partridge Family, The Bold Ones, Ironside, Switch and Marcus Welby, M.D.. Barbara also worked with Lucille Ball and John Travolta. At some point she auditioned for a role for a George Lucas movie in the 1970s and would regularly have lunch with an up and coming Studio Director named Steven Spielberg. Later in her career Barbra would teach young actors as well as do some casting and was a make up artist. She is married and is continuing to teach actors and to act. Her faith is very important to her.
