Fox News late-night host Greg Gutfeld is set to take his act on the road.
The comic and political commentator’s Gutfeld Live 2024 Tour has set five dates, including a two-night engagement in Las Vegas.
Gutfeld’s summer tour will also take him to Durham, Fort Lauderdale and Red Bank, NJ. Special packages at some of the shows include premium seating and access to a pre-show sound check.
The late-night host’s past live shows have been a strictly sit-down affair, with Gutfeld not so much telling jokes as engaging in conversation alongside fellow comic and Fox News personality Tom Shillue. Shillue is billed as a “special guest” at each of Gutfeld’s Summer 2024 tour dates.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale today, and will be available to the general public on Friday.

If imitation is the highest form of flattery – even if that imitation is totally off the rails – then Greg Gutfeld still has a warm place in his heart for Tucker Carlson.
The self-styled “king of late-night”, appeared as a guest on his own show this week to talk about his new book, “The King of Late Night,” which somehow wasn’t as awkward as it sounds.
With guest-host Tom Shillue sitting in as “host,” Gutfeld fielded questions about his book, including why the polarizing political punster-poet chose to tackle a nightly show when he was already in a cushy job as a panelist on Fox’s daily ratings champ “The Five.”
“Now, do you want to talk about the fact that you were ambivalent or unsure about going nightly?” Shillue asked.
“Yes. I didn’t want to do it because I have a target on my back and I hate...

Typically the films spotlighted in our Fund This Film column are found on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. This week, I’ve found a project to share that is conducting its crowdfunding efforts through the lesser-known site RocketHub. By “I’ve found,” I should point out that I was made aware of the film by a hometown acquaintance with a minor onscreen role, via his Facebook page. It’s a small connection that has even less bearing on my decision to showcase the project than the fact that Freaks and Geeks actor Samm Levine co-stars (he is the one cast member of that show who really needs to be in more stuff), but I like to offer full disclosure. The film in need is titled Sidewalk Traffic, and it’s written and directed by Anthony L. Fisher, whose past work on the short Reason TV documentary Abandoned in Guatemala: The Failure of International Adoption and the Groundhog Day-ish...

Imagine working a 9-to-5 desk job in New York City while pursuing a career as an actress. In balancing the two, drama ensues. Plus you try to have a personal life. Sound vaguely familiar? Ann Carr understands these life choices as well as anyone. So she decided to broadcast her personal struggle in her comic web series, "The Actress." "It's pulled from my life," she said recently. "[But] it's heightened. I write to make it funny." Carr has been living and working in NYC since she moving from her hometown of Iowa City, Iowa in 2000, and it hasn't been easy. To offset the grind of auditioning, she started doing open mic nights. She had a particular fondness for Rififi, whose home on East 11th Street in Manhattan was a "nurturing environment" for her for many years (it closed in 2008). Over time, Carr developed a reputation in downtown venues for performing quirky original character sketches,...

The Ecny Awards, celebrating the best of the comedic performing arts in New York, were presented Monday night, March 8, at the city's Comix comedy club. Fifteen awards were given out, in categories ranging from best male standup comedian to outstanding achievement in the field of tweeting. For the third year in a row, Jon Friedman ("The Rejection Show," "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon") hosted the show. "It's weird to choose a winner in comedy," Friedman said before the ceremony, comparing the Ecny Awards with the previous night's Academy Awards. "Comedy is so subjective, and any comic can simply have an off night on any given night. Or, as a comic, you can connect with certain people and not at all with others, no matter what day or night it is. Whereas with a film—say, for best picture—that film is exactly the same every time it's shown."Among the...
