Fox News late-night host Greg Gutfeld is set to take his act on the road.

The comic and political commentator’s Gutfeld Live 2024 Tour has set five dates, including a two-night engagement in Las Vegas.

Gutfeld’s summer tour will also take him to Durham, Fort Lauderdale and Red Bank, NJ. Special packages at some of the shows include premium seating and access to a pre-show sound check.

The late-night host’s past live shows have been a strictly sit-down affair, with Gutfeld not so much telling jokes as engaging in conversation alongside fellow comic and Fox News personality Tom Shillue. Shillue is billed as a “special guest” at each of Gutfeld’s Summer 2024 tour dates.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale today, and will be available to the general public on Friday.

If imitation is the highest form of flattery – even if that imitation is totally off the rails – then Greg Gutfeld still has a warm place in his heart for Tucker Carlson.

The self-styled “king of late-night”, appeared as a guest on his own show this week to talk about his new book, “The King of Late Night,” which somehow wasn’t as awkward as it sounds.

With guest-host Tom Shillue sitting in as “host,” Gutfeld fielded questions about his book, including why the polarizing political punster-poet chose to tackle a nightly show when he was already in a cushy job as a panelist on Fox’s daily ratings champ “The Five.”

“Now, do you want to talk about the fact that you were ambivalent or unsure about going nightly?” Shillue asked.

Make room, awards season, because another ceremony has entered the fray and this one belongs to Fox Media. Fox Nation, the subscription streaming service of Fox News, is holding the inaugural Patriot Awards November 6 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

It will be streamed live on Fox Nation with a later air date on Fox News.

What goes on at Patriot Awards, you ask?

“This one-of-a-kind event will showcase and award American’s finest patriots, including military veterans and first responders, among other inspirational everyday heroes. Fox Nation‘s top personalities will make appearances and serve as presenters at the awards show,” according to the Thursday announcement.

Fox News said on Wednesday that Fox Nation personality Britt McHenry’s sexual harassment complaints against her former “Un-pc” co-host Tyrus have been “independently investigated,” and the cable news channel considers “the matter resolved.”

The company’s full statement is below.

“While we are not at liberty to discuss the details of any employee matter, we follow strict protocols when matters such as these are brought to our attention, and we make no exceptions. The process works because of the extensive systems and measures we have instituted. This situation was independently investigated and we consider the matter resolved. We respect the confidentiality of all involved.”

Tyrus’ real name is George Murdoch, though WWE fans may remember the ex-wrestler as Brodus Clay. He wrestled as Tyrus in Tna.

Fox New is beefing up its upcoming streaming service, Fox Nation, with more star power. After recently announcing the service would house a news program from popular conservative Tomi Lahren, the network has announced a new slate of short-form content that will feature programming from Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, former ESPN commentator and full-time conservative Britt McHenry and Laura Ingraham from Fox New’s “Ingraham Angle.”

Ingraham will be co-hosting her new series with regular “Ingraham Angle” contributor, Raymond Arroyo. The series, titled “Laura & Raymond,” will focus on current political and pop culture news. McHenry will be co-hosting her upcoming series, “Un-pc,” with former WWE wrestler and regular Fox contributor George “Tyrus” Murdoch. The series, which aims to summarize the day’s top political, sports and entertainment headlines, will feature a new special guest each episode.

Hannity’s upcoming series, which is still in development, has not yet been named.

Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, two of the most-watched personalities on Fox News Channel, will hold programming roosts on Fox Nation, the streaming-video service slated to debut in fall from the 21st Century Fox-owned news outlet.

Ingraham is slated to co-host the new show “Laura & Raymond” with Raymond Arroyo, a regular guest on her primetime program on Fox news. The show is expected to focus on politics and culture. Hannity, meanwhile, will host a Fox Nation program that the company said was “currently in development.”

The announcements about the primetime hosts’ shows came along with a spate of news about programming for Fox Nation, a subscription-based service slated to launch in the fourth quarter. Fox News has said the new outlet is aimed at “superfans” of its cable network. A subscription price has not been unveiled.

Fox Nation will be Fox News Channel’s stand-alone streaming service. But it will feature many of the personalities that already draw fans to the company’s flagship cable operation.

All of Fox News’ most popular personalities – including hosts from the 21st Century Fox-owned network’s primetime lineup and its “Fox & Friends” morning show – are expected to have regular roles on the subscription-based outlet, the network said Wednesday. Fox News Channel has canceled overnight news and comedy program, “Red Eye,” TheWrap has confirmed. The series launched in 2007, when it was hosted by Greg Gutfeld. Tom Shillue was the program’s most recent host; Andy Levy served as his co-host. Both are expected to stay on with Fox News. Any time you make a list of the sexiest people in TV news, there are bound to be some hurt feelings, and Mediaite's 2015 Top 34 list was no exception. Newish Redeye host Tom Shillue recently aired his disappointment at being left off the list in favor of 34 other sexy hosts, journalists, and panel regulars, and surmised that his submission must not have arrived to our offices in time.

This week, I’ve found a project to share that is conducting its crowdfunding efforts through the lesser-known site RocketHub. Nominations have been announced for the sixth annual Ecny Awards, representing the work of the New York comedy scene over the past year. The awards ceremony takes place March 8 at 8 p.m. at Comix NY, 353 W. 14th St, N.Y. For the third straight year, comedian Jon Friedman will host. Nominations were announced at Comix NY by Comix's Kambri Crews and past winner Kumail Nanjiani of "Michael & Michael Have Issues."  The announcements were streamed live via Ustream as well as on Twitter. (See a video of the announcement below.) The nominees were selected from a voting committee of industry professionals, as well as through a public nomination process. Nominees must reside and have performed mostly in the New York City area from October 2008 to October 2009 to be eligible.
