Kelleia Sheerin is a Wild West born actor, dancer, director, teacher & filmmaker.
In 2020, Kelleia founded Pink Box Productions with her husband Peter Downing. She is the co-creator, director and star of the absurdly sexy Mother F*cker! (2021) Her first short (writer/director), The Feminine Mystaque (2018), is a dark comedic feminist horror flick which garnered awards from the Wildcat Spirit Film Festival and FirstTime FilmMaker Sessions.
From winning "Best Director" in the Hollywood Fringe Festival for I Want to Bury My Testimony to dancing as an absurd Scottish Tart in Eric Idle's live radio-play What About Dick? (2012) from portraying the savvy Burlesque Star of her time, Tempest Storm, in the film Gangster Squad (2013) to camping-it-up as a 16-year-old camp counselor in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015); from "wishing and hoping" in the iconic opening sequence of My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) to originating the role of Billie "Veruka" Wynette on Broadway in Urban Cowboy, The Musical (which garnered her Best Mullet on Broadway) to choreographing on a myriad of shows, plays & musicals, Kelleia has built her reputation on an inherent understanding of the work, a respect for the unpredictable, the 10,000+ hours of a professional and the ability to solve anything.
Kelleia created and has been teaching Kelleia & The Jazz, a quintessential get down for grown-ass adults, for over a decade. Her students refer to this weekly dance class as "sexy church!"
Kelleia is also obsessed with clean, alternative energy. As an environmental advocate, she supports BareFoot College, a village-based organization empowering women to become solar engineers and is the creator of the hippest hip-bag in the the universe, The Luna Bag made from HEMP & recycled bamboo.
