- Ernõ Szenes was born on December 24, 1889 in Miskolc, Austria-Hungary. He was an actor, known for Hyppolit a lakáj (1931), Er und sein Diener (1931) and Die singende Stadt (1930). He died on February 25, 1945 in Buchenwald Concentration Camp, Weimar, Germany.
- After 1933 he returned to Hungary. There came his last cinematical works into being.
- Besides his name stage name Ernst Senesch he also used the name Ernö Szenes.
- Ernst Senesch was arrested and brought to Buchenwald where he was murdered in 1945.
- He entered the film business in Hungary in 1920 with "A csodagyerek" (1920). Afterwards followed numerous engagement for the German film.
