- Ben Schoen is known for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Avatar (2009) and Star Trek Beyond (2016).
- He is most often credited by his company's name, Scarlet Letters, rather than his own, since double credits are not allowed on end credits. Scarlet Letters only began to be credited on end titles in the late 90s when the definitions of the traditional "titles and opticals" gave way to specific crediting. Traditionally, whoever shot the titles to 35mm film got the credits, whether or not they had created the artwork. Scarlet Letters went uncredited on several hundred films from 1984 until 1997.
