His impressive film career came to an abrupt end in 1927 when he died at the age of only 41. His last movie "Jahrmarkt des Lebens" (1928) was released after his death.
The height of his film career followed in the 20s and he impersonated numerous support roles in popular movies.
In Berlin he got in touch with the film business and he appeared in first movies from 1918.
The actor Robert Scholz was successful at the theater and his way led him till to Berlin.
