Al Santos(I)
- Actor
- Producer
Al took some time away when his role with CSI NY went on strike along with all of Hollywood.
He followed his family into the construction and tech industries, where he founded many other successful ventures over the past decade through the late 2020's, including being the CEO of a publicly-traded-company.
Most recently, Al linked back up with his very first Agent; Rachel Sheedy founder of INSURGE-Ent, and together they are back hitting Hollywood hard again. Al has been in talks with my past friends and colleagues about new films, shows, and projects, and producing and directing some upcoming concepts.
Now in his 40's he has found a new mature vibe with his Latin / White / American / Euro background. With several projects in pre-production, expect to see Al in some new exciting projects!
BACKGROUND : Al, born and raised in NY. He started in the entertainment biz at 15. He booked his very first meeting for each Modeling (Versace), Commercial (Gusher Fruit Snach), TV (Grosse Pointe), and Film (Jeepers Creepers 2) and found success quickly.
During Al's Tour as a Ford Model NYC, Al booked over 50 commercials, and dozens of magazine covers such as "Seventeen, YM, Teen-Vogue, American Fitness, Elle, Comos", and many international campaigns like "Versace, Armani, D&G, Levi's, Lee, American Eagle, Wrangler". In 2001, Al was named the "Cosmopolitan Man of the Year".
During this time, Al found his real passion in the sciences. He studied at several colleges in NYC for years. While in school, he trained with many acting coaches like NYU Film, and Hunter College Film NYC, and acting coach Penny Templeton. His first casting after completing class was for Darren Star's critically acclaimed show, Grosse Pointe. Al booked the sough-after-lead role as "Johnny Bishop" in the WB show.
Making the move to Hollywood Al booked a lead in MGM/United Pictures and Victor Salva/Francis Ford Coppola's Jeepers Creepers II. The horror franchise took #1 for several weeks and still holds some box office records.
Al also found success producing and writing for film, with his own production company.
MOST RECENTLY: Al is managing several companies from Real Estate, Tech, and is now full-time back in Hollywood and NYC.
