- Additional Crew
Schuyler A. Sanford was born in Columbus, Ohio (and not in
Brownsville, Texas, which was the birthplace of a unit manager always
billed as Frank Fox) and brought to "Around the World in 80 Days" nearly
twenty years of experience with motion picture equipment. Starting in
the Paramount Pictures camera department as a film loader, he worked
his way up from assistant cameraman to camera operator to technician.
In World War Two, he received a commission in the U.S. Army Air Corps
and was in charge of motion picture photographic training.
