Born in New York City, Kent Sanderson graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and grew up in Westchester County, New York. He joined the film studio Bleecker Street upon its inception in 2014 as the head of acquisitions and home entertainment. He previously held positions at the William Morris Agency, Universal's Focus Features unit, and GoDigital.
