New Delhi, July 16 (Ians) Shubham Bisla and Sainyam, gave the Indian colts a dream start at the International Shooting Sport Federation (Issf) World Championship Juniors in Changwon, Korea, winning the Men’s and Women’s 10m Air Pistol competitions respectively.

While it was Shubham’s first gold at the Issf junior level, Sainyam backed up her win in the Suhl Junior World Cup last month, with an encore in Changwon. India as a result won both gold medals on offer on Day One of competitions and were comfortably leading the medal tally, according to information provided by the National Rifle Association of India (Nrai) on Sunday.

Shubham was the first to fire for India when he shot 244.6 in the men’s air pistol final, leaving China’s Bu Shuaihang, who shot 239.6, way behind in silver. Korea’s Kim Kanghyun won bronze with 218.2.

Emmy and Honorary Oscar winner Tyler Perry (A Jazzman’s Blues) has set another new film, titled Mea Culpa, at Netflix — enlisting Kelly Rowland (Think Like A Man), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Sean Sagar (The Gentlemen), Nick Sagar (The Princess Switch trilogy) and RonReaco Lee (Nappily Ever After) to star.

The film written, directed and produced by Perry follows a criminal defense attorney who, in the hopes of becoming partner, takes on the case of an artist who may or may not have murdered his girlfriend. Others set as producers include Angi Bones, Will Areu and Rowland.

Mea Culpa will mark Perry’s fifth Netflix feature following Six Triple Eight, A Fall From Grace, A Madea Homecoming, A Jazzman’s Blues and Adam McKay’s end-of-the-world comedy Don’t Look Up, which had him as part of the ensemble. Pune, Nov 9 (Ians) Fazel Atrachali fulfilled two promises, one to beat the Tamil Thalaivas and the second to catch Narender out for his 400th tackle point in the vivo Pro Kabaddi League, all in one game as the Puneri Paltan beat the Thalaivas 35-34 in a match at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex here on Wednesday.

A complete team performance saw Atrachali get five points, while Aslam Inamdar racked up six for the home team.

Much like the first time these two met in this leg, the Thalaivas were the ones off to a quick start and had rallied into a lead very early. Pune’s raiders by contrast, struggled to make any impact, registering a mere seven points in the first half.
