- Plaintive, dark-haired American comedy character actress of TV and commercials who played drab Jewish ladies -- often irritable or bossy.
- Probably best-known for her portrayal of "Lucy" in the off-Broadway 1967 musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", that also showcased Gary Burghoff in the lead role (pre-M*A*S*H). She and Skip Hinnant, who played piano-plucking "Schroeder" in the G-rated musical, then went on to voice lead roles in the originally X-rated film cartoon The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat (1974).
- The original family name was "Ozaransky." Reva's grandfather Hyman changed it to "Rose" upon becoming a U.S. citizen.
- Third generation Jewish American. Three of her grandparents were born outside of the United States, namely in Romania and Russian Empire.
