Andy Rodriguez-McCradic
- Producer
- Director
- Writer
By 1994, Rodriguez-McCradic had written his first feature Darkfury, released in 1995. It was the first Arizona based film to get distribution from Arizona in 30+ years, unofficially the start of the modern film community in the Phoenix area.
in 2016, Rodriguez-McCradic wrote Arizona House Bill 2646, which provided a pathway to creating an Arizona Film Office, which had been closed in 2011. The idea was to combine private and public interests, a pathway never tried before. The bill was withdrawn, but the idea, used by others in the State Senate, paved the way for the current Arizona Film and Media Office.
