Urs Remond grew up in Cameroon, Africa. From the age of 12 he studied classical dance. A motorcycle accident ended his dancing plans and he attended the University of music and performing Arts in Hamburg. After years of theatre in Hamburg and Berlin, working also as writer and director, Remond started his TV/Movie career. He lived in Paris for eight years where he was in several French productions. Back in Germany after some years as a villain, he found his breakthrough as protagonist of the very successful RTL-Action-Series "Medicopter 117" followed by "John Sinclair" etc. In recent years Urs Remond has increasingly acted in international productions such as "Covert Affairs" with NBC and the highly acclaimed BBC Mini-Series "37 Days". In the Videogame "Battlefield V", released 2018, he played the much discussed leading role as Tigertank commander Peter Müller and 2020 Urs Remond was the government spokesman of Angela Merkel in the award winning TV-Movie "Die Getriebenen".
